Our Team

Dr. Oswald purchased Precision EyeCare & Optical in July of 2018. Dr. Oswald is from Idaho Falls and graduated college from BYU-Idaho. He has lived in Argentina, is fluent in Spanish, and was a national collegiate Hispanic honor society member. He was also a member of the international optometric honor society each year that he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated Cum Laude. He was a Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities Award recipient in 2011. He is still an Ambassador for the Southern College of Optometry.

After graduation, Dr. Oswald completed a residency at Pacific University in the areas of primary care optometry, ocular disease, and surgical co-management at the Walla Walla VA Medical Center and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Kennewick, Washington. He loves to learn and implement new technology and procedures in his practice. He is currently using new designs in contact lenses to help slow down the progression of blurred vision and heal diseased eyes. He can fit people in contact lenses who have been told previously that they could not wear them. His well-rounded background enables him to deliver exceptional care across all areas of optometry, from routine vision exams and contact lens fittings to the management of complex ocular health issues.

Dr. Oswald loves to work with children and co-authored a research paper entitled “Barriers to Children’s Vision Care: a Survey of Parent Attitudes,” which was presented at the American Academy of Optometry in 2009. Dr. Oswald’s approach to patient care is rooted in precision, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve quality of life through better vision. Dr. Oswald studied under Dr. Debby Feinberg and Dr. Sally Hoey at the NeuroVisual Medicine Institute in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, in 2025. Now trained as a NeuroVisual Medicine Specialist, he is ready to help patients struggling with Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD) find answers and lasting relief.

Doctor Oswald worked in Central Oregon from 2012 to 2016 in a primary care practice that also provided corrective surgeries such as LASIK. From 2016 to 2018, he worked with Family Vision in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He volunteers with the Lion’s Club, local school districts, local church organizations, Little League, and the Dillon Baseball and Softball Association. Dr. Oswald and his wife, Nikky, love Southwest Montana.  They have 3 sons and enjoy playing sports together as a family. Dr. Oswald loves coaching his sons’ sports teams. They also enjoy golf, tennis, pickle ball, fishing, camping, hunting, and hiking.

Jessica joined the Precision EyeCare & Optical team in 2017 and became a Certified Paraoptemetric in 2018.  She manages our billing and insurance and enjoys helping patients in all areas of the office whenever she can.  Jessica graduated from UMW with a degree in Natural Horsemanship and Business Management.  In her free time, she enjoys helping her husband on the ranch, hiking with their dog, fishing, and riding horses.

Jessie moved from Washington in 2013 to attend University of Montana Western. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Horsemanship & Business. Jessie loves Dillon where she lives with her husband Nate and their son. They enjoy spending time as a family, hunting, fishing and riding horses.

Jessie started working at Precision Eyecare in 2019. She enjoys serving the Dillon community in all the departments of the office. Her favorite place to be is in the optical helping everyone find the perfect pair of glasses.

Holly started at Precision EyeCare & Optical as a receptionist in 2023, but is looking forward to learning more in other departments as well. She enjoys being able to help customers however she can whether it is checking in or out for an appt, scheduling, or glasses repairs/adjustments.

She is from Bigfork, MT and moved to Dillon in 2023 with her husband for his work. Holly and her husband try to spend any free time they have outdoors, they enjoy fishing/ice fishing, looking for antlers, hunting both in archery and rifle season, and taking their dog, Ripley, out for walks and outdoor adventures.

Ava is a native of Dillon who began working at Precision Eyecare and Optical at the start of 2024. As a technician, she is dedicated to providing the best care for patients. She graduated from the University of Montana Western with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Pre-Professional Medical and Veterinary Sciences. Ava is eager to expand her knowledge in other areas in the office and to contribute to the Dillon community. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling during her free time.

Brynlee moved from Utah to Dillon in 2023 to support her husband Eli while he plays football at UMW. She is also working toward receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Biology. Brynlee started working at Precision EyeCare and Optical January of 2024 as a Technician. She loves to meet new people and get to know them.

Brynlee also loves to watch Eli play football, crochet, cook, spend time basking in the sun, and most of all, spend time with her family.

Sam moved to Dillon  from Glendive in 2016 to attend the University of Montana Western where she earned a degree in Social Science. Sam started working at Precision Eyecare and Optical in February 2023 and has become a Certified Optical Assistant. She takes pride in furthering her knowledge in eyecare to give patients a wonderful experience from check in to check out.  Patient care is Sam’s top priority and she enjoys working with patients in all departments of the office!

She and her husband enjoy golfing, hunting, and exploring Dillon and the surrounding areas with their daughter and dogs.

Allie joined the Precision EyeCare and Optical team in June of 2025. She is enthusiastic and loves providing care for our patients. She is a fast learner and also helps as an optometric technician and as an optician. After leaving the state for a while, Allie moved back to Montana in 2020. She enjoys being in the mountains, reading books, and spending time with family. 

Makiya joined the team in November of 2025 and is a Licensed Master Aesthetician. She is passionate about helping our patients look and feel their best. She graduated from The Skin Science Institute of Laser and Esthetics in Sandy, Utah, in March of 2024. She has absolutely loved devoting her professional expertise to skin science specializing in many skin enhancing treatments including laser work, IPL, radio frequency, facials, chemical peels, waxing, Classic Lash extensions, and spray tanning.  You can book an appointment with Makiya on our website today!
